The Bible is the only Book that gives us any indication of the true nature of sin, and where it came from. ~ Oswald Chambers
Jesus reveals Himself as the stronger King, exposes hardened unbelief, warns against empty religion, and calls for wholehearted allegiance, showing that neutrality toward Him does not exist.
The King James Version is a faithful and trustworthy translation and has stood the test of time. Other translations must be tested carefully against Scripture. Some modern versions blur or soften what God speaks plainly about sin, repentance, and judgment, and that matters ~2 Peter 3:16.
Light received brings life, but light rejected brings judgment. Hearing Christ without repentance hardens the heart and increases accountability before God, as Jesus warns the cities that saw His works and still refused to bow ~Matthew 11:20–24.
Jesus warns that true allegiance to Him will bring open resistance, persecution, and division, and that only those who endure faithfully prove they truly belong to Him ~Matthew 10:16–22.
Doctrine does not correct Jesus’ words; it comes from them, and any theology that softens what He plainly said is not submitting to Him.
If your theology is what matters most, even over the direct words of Jesus, it is not Jesus who is wrong. I thought that was a given…

That’s backwards. Doctrine is not placed over Jesus’ words. Doctrine comes from Jesus’ words. When His warnings are softened or redefined to fit a system, it isn’t Jesus being honored, it’s Jesus being corrected.
A new year is riding in, but God has not changed. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever ~Hebrews 13:8. Changing the calendar will not change a man’s heart. Repent, walk straight, and keep your life anchored in the Word. Eternity is closer than it was yesterday.
“If we don’t know the Bible, if we don’t know doctrine, if we don’t know theology, it is virtually impossible for us to identify false prophets.” – Voddie Baucham
Scripture warns that false teachers look harmless but twist God’s Word. “Beware of false prophets” ~Matthew 7:15. Test every teaching by Scripture alone, because God says, “Do not add to His words” ~Proverbs 30:6. Stay with the truth, and reject every counterfeit.
Preach the truth and you’ll separate the Goats from the Sheep. Expose the lies and you’ll uncover the Wolves among the flock.

"The deadliest wolves don’t stand outside the Church; they preach from its pulpits."
