    That’s backwards. Doctrine is not placed over Jesus’ words. Doctrine comes from Jesus’ words. When His warnings are softened or redefined to fit a system, it isn’t Jesus being honored, it’s Jesus being corrected.

    be done or said in today's world. so for extreme things that have been softened in today world, are we correcting God. i wish i could phrase this question better, i hope you understand my question. i love learning
