A Christian Forum is a website-based message board where people discuss the Bible and the Christian faith in writing. It is a virtual place of questioning, examination, and testing through written posts and responses in black and white using Scripture.

A website can name itself a Christian forum but it is the authority under which it functions that makes it truly Christian. Scripture must be the final authority. God says, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” ~Isaiah 8:20. If the Bible is not the final authority in conversation, then all communication quickly becomes opinion, tradition, and personal belief rather than truth.

A biblical Christian forum upholds Sola Scriptura. God’s Word is sufficient, complete, and authoritative. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” ~2 Timothy 3:16. Church tradition, human opinion, private revelation, and added teaching does not have authority to override, challenge, or supplement Scripture. God warns to not add to His Word or take away from it ~Deuteronomy 4:2, ~Revelation 22:18–19.

There are many websites that name themselves a Christian Forum, but Scripture warns there will be false teachers who appear religious and sincere while they lead people away from the truth. “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ” ~2 Corinthians 11:13. A biblical Christian forum does not permit false teaching, cult doctrines, or extra-biblical beliefs to be spread unchecked. God commands believers to test what is being taught, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God” ~1 John 4: 1, because “a little leaven leavens the whole lump” ~Galatians 5:9.

A true Christian forum protects sound doctrine, corrects error with Scripture, and keeps Christ and His Word at the center. It does not elevate feelings, popularity, or tradition over the Bible. It stands on truth, not silence, because God’s Word matters and souls are at stake.

Good morning, David;

What is a Christian Forum? is a good thread to kick off another great year of the Lord's presence. He will continue to move in each of our lives to all who seek and desire a relationship with Him.

James 4:8, 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. - ESV

Jeremiah 29:13, 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. - KJV

When we desire more of Christ and an intimate relationship we must have a heart of the "right expectations" as we seek Him more.

I believe with this discipline we can be open to sound doctrine, ears to hear when a view is different and be more receiving to learning.

This is my prayer, one we can all seek in our fellowship at BTF in 2026.

God bless you, David, thank you for standing firm with Scripture Alone. God will do the rest.

Bob

The Bible is not on trial. Man is. Jesus said, “the scripture cannot be broken” ~John 10:35. God’s Word does not bow before modern skepticism. It exposes the heart and stands forever. The question is not whether Scripture will stand. It will. The question is whether we will stand with it.
When God warns you, don’t brush it off. Answer Him while you still can, because a hardened heart doesn’t stay neutral, it moves toward judgment. Scripture is clear: “Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts” ~Hebrews 3:15, and again, “He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy” ~Proverbs 29:1.
