Reading the Book of Daniel

Would it have been better to read the book of Daniel in chronological order? Any pros and cons?

Just 'read', yeah I think OK. But STUDY, I believe should be with a different approach than just reading. I don't know how many times I have gone over the Book of Daniel and found bits of prophecy that I had missed when just reading it chronologically.
