Low Salvation Rate

The tragedy of the “few” is not that God loses. It is that so many sinners do.

God a loser? Think about what you're asking. Since when is Almighty God measured by how many sinners are willing to bow before Him?

Jesus Himself said, “Broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” (Matthew 7:13). He also said that the way to life is narrow, “and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14).

Was Jesus admitting defeat? Absolutely not! He was warning sinners of the destruction awaiting them.

God sent His Son into this world to save sinners. Christ suffered, shed His blood, died, and rose again. And what does Scripture say about those who reject Him?

“And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life” (John 5:40).

There is something terribly wrong when we look at a world of sinners rejecting God's mercy and conclude that God must be the failure.

God says, “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live” (Ezekiel 33:11).

And make no mistake, God will accomplish everything He has purposed. “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure” (Isaiah 46:10).

The question we ought to be asking isn't whether God loses because so few are saved. It's why so many people would rather perish in their sins than repent and come to the only One who can save them.

God has never lost His battle against sin. But every sinner who dies without Christ has lost everything.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
(Mark 8:36).
