Just sharing My Thoughts!

Lying on my bed ... towards the end of speaking to Father, thoughts of the day flashed through my head (why am I not feeling your presence Father)

I then I realised that I was being distracted, and before the negativity could set in, I did my usual "It is Written ... verses"

I only remember a few of them, but I really do not think we need to have all the words in order, it is what is in our hearts that matters. We communicate telepathically; it's not about academia, it is about Heart!

These are some that I use repeatedly, whenever I realise that "negativity" is lurking:

'In the name of Jesus, I command you to leave now; I have the authority to tread on snakes and scorpions' and
'In the name of Jesus, I command the forces of evil to leave'

Luke 10:19: Jesus grants authority to "trample underfoot serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy."
1 Corinthians 5:13: Instructs believers to "Expel the wicked man from among you."
Matthew 4:10: Jesus commands, "Go away, Satan!"

This is my absolute favourite: Psalm 91 ... this Psalm covers, our property, our home, each other, my loved ones, friends and my animals; even the airspace above us.

Then the thoughts of all the "noise" and "chaos" in the outside world, started to creep in ...

Yet I know that my inner world is Safe and Beautiful; it is filled with with Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit; how can you get more Power than that?
My Future is Safe and Wonderful ...

Everything that we may consider as "breakthrough technology", "scientific and advancement", "convenient" is a "COPY" (attempt at a copy) of what God has created.

Even "cloning" and "genetically altered objects" are attempts to play God. God made EVERYTHING PERFECT; why then should man try to mimic?

We can choose fake or we can choose everything that is naturally made by the hand of God Himself

I drifted off to sleep, in peace : )

Good morning, Linda;

Thank you sharing. I also have those moments you described. In Luke 6:12 when Jesus withdrew to pray it was the entire evening with our Father. It was that evening that the next morning Jesus raised His twelve disciples.

I don't spend the entire night praying to God but I do remember one entire night in 1993 I prayed and the next day my prayer was answered. But it wasn't an answer of joy. It would follow with lessons which helped me learn and grow from it as a Christian.

June 2026 has been a spiritually busy month for me. One of them has to do with a good friend, Pam, who was taken off life support. At the same time my other friend, Al, was by her bedside. A couple of nights ago I called them and prayed encouragement for Pam. She squeezed Al's hand while understanding what I was praying on the phone. Then I did the prayer of acceptance for Al. He gave his life to Jesus at that moment.

Along with the other stuff during June God doesn't always respond by making me chipper after praying, but I do get a spiritual sense of peace and calm.

God bless you, Linda.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for that ... I get from your sharing that this is what "submission" looks like ... no matter what the answer is, it is in line with what God wants for us, and we Trust Him : ) xxx
