Introduction

Knowing one another in a Relationship in the Name of Jesus is what our "Abba Father/Daddy", Jehovah/Yahweh gave us in His Word on Jesus. So this can just be an introduction of myself. We know one another in being together. Just as we know our Dad in being with Him. Where we are His Temple in whom He stays.

From the moment we met Him the first time He begins His Transformative work in us. Where we enter a Life in the Name of Jesus which is a Witness to His Love in Grace to us. Just because we desired to walk with Him He is raising us in the Name of Jesus as His Child.

In all of us being a Child of God as a New Creation in Jesus we entered The Brotherhood of God in us being now Holy in our separation from our human lives to be Brothers to one another. Just as our Dad is Holy in being separated unto us from His Godly Life as God when He became "Abba Father" in our Birth from Him.

Thus we have to enter this being together in the Holy Spirit of Love for one another in the Family Life of Dad in being part of Edifying. Where we are Edified and are doing Edifying in His Family we entered.

I met God first at 18 years of age in the school hall when an evangelist visited our school and ministered there in his gift. At that time I was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa because my grandparents and parents were members there. But what touched me was that evangelists personal relationship with God which I desired. And when he asked: "Who wants to be saved?", i was the first to rise. Which was a miracle in itself because i was probably the most shy person in that hall. Someone with an identity of "hiding away" because of the disgrace I lived in up to that moment in being a "child of drunks". And not being particular good in sport and neither in my studies I had no good experience of myself and my worthiness to anyone at all. But our Dad saved me in accepting my desire to know Him and the Love I experienced for myself on that day. Unconditional love for me being a "failure". And from that time I entered an amazing restoration to who and what i am today. In being able to come here and be with all of you in here in who and what He created me to be as His Child in His Holy Spirit of Love in the Righteousness and Holiness that came from Him as my restoration to be able to meet with others in His Presence.

It sounds like the Lord has brought you a long way, and He is due all the praise for that. Salvation is the work of God’s grace from beginning to end. Scripture says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” ~2 Corinthians 5:17. That is the real foundation of our identity, not our past and not what others thought of us.

We are all here to grow up in this together through the truth God has already given in His Word. The Bible says the Spirit uses that Word to build us up and strengthen our faith ~John 17:17. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we encourage one another in that truth and keep pointing one another back to what God has spoken.

You are right. We are in a Relationship of God in the Name of Jesus. Where we meet in 2 and 3 Persons as Jehovah spoke in Jesus.

Mat. 18: 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

And we speak through the Holy Spirit in pointing back to Scripture in agreeing with it. And Edifying one another through our Gift we got from God and which manifests in the Holy Spirit in Power from us. And we grow together in Righteousness and Holiness manifesting our Relationships in the Name of Jesus in here in meetings in 2 and 3 as we are doing now. And we benefit from each other in what we have grown into. Because only what God created in us can actually flow from us in Living Words towards each other. That is why we are the Living Word or Living Bible of God by which He speaks from us as His Temple in creating Life in each other.

2 Cor. 3: 1 Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? or need we, as do some, epistles of commendation to you or from you? 2 Ye are our epistle, written in our hearts, known and read of all men; 3 being made manifest that ye are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in tables that are hearts of flesh. 4 And such confidence have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God; 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Thank you for sharing your amazing story ... I completely relate to and mirror so much of what you have said. I too was brought up in SAfrica (now live in AU) ... we are not failures in Abba's eyes; He was always there for us, through thick and thin : )
