Hello, My name is Siddhi Koli.I live in Navi Mumbai,Maharashtra India. I have been a Christian since 2021. I have had cerebral palsy since birth.
I want salvation.
My first language is Marathi.I came here to find information about the Holy Spirit.I give the good news that The Holy Spirit appeared to me .

I don't understand some English words of the Bible.

I know some words of this holy bible. But I don't understand in English. I read a little, I use google translate or online

I can read, write and speak Marathi as my mother tongue.

But can read a few words of English but can not speak and write. That is, grammar cannot be written with hands.
When I had to go to the .hospital.then
That is to say, I was in the car and I saw him on the left side of the wing mirror of the car. I saw the Holy Spirit flying as a golden dove (in spiritual).

I was horrified to see the Holy Spirit.

Why did I become a Christian?

I was sad that I had cerebral palsy from birth. And I can't walk.I don't want to live in this sinful world. In this world, our desires are not fulfilled. I wanted to be the bride of Christ.

I have been unable to walk since birth, because of cerebral palsy.Sitting on a wheel chair hurts my waist.

I started remembering negative things.
And I used to think about which god to believe in.

I heard and watched more stories about Jesus on the Internet in Computer .

I have accepted Jesus as my savior in 2021 year
I was a vegan, eating non-vegetarian is a sin so my vitamins were deficient, I fainted then

I was taken to Apollo Hospital then I regained consciousness and mom took me to a psychiatrist.Then I didn't say anything, I was silent.

When I saw the Holy Spirit I was afraid, I knew what the truth was. Then I started believing in monotheism. I was a Hindu and a Koli caste,


Then I started eating non-vegetarian and vegetarian foods.

Why am I depressed?

I have not been able to walk since birth.I remember sinning as a child.Because of this I want salvation.

I don't like some people saying bad words.

I was a pure vegetarian because consuming non-vegetarian food is sinful.
I used to think about which religion to choose. That is to choose monotheism or polytheism.

Then I went to another hospital. Doctor gave me a sleeping pill because I can't sleep all night.
And was not hungry .

I don't know what my Christian denomination is, I know very little about Christianity, I was a Hindu but I love Christianity so much that I saw on the internet that Jesus died for sin. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, I can't go to church.

I know and believe that Jesus the son of God healed some people but why am I not healed, some church is a hypocrite, who will pick me up and take me and I want salvation so I am sad and depressed.There is good news why the Holy Spirit appeared, He has something to tell me.

I don't judge the church but the Lord will do it on the last day but I found that tabor ashram online and gave them 100 rupees to heal me but the pastor was just talking about the bible and can't do anything. I was shocked

Answers- My mother is a nurse.She works in JNPT hospital and my body strength was lost due to vegan.
Then I was going to JNPT hospital with my mother in the car of young uncle or uncle's elder son.

In Marathi (in Devanagari script) the word pavitra aatma(पवित्र आत्मा) is used.
Holy Spirit is called Pavitra Aatma in Marathi language.️

I read on the internet that the Hebrew name for Jesus is Yeshua (יֵשׁוּעַ), which means salvation.and The Holy Spirit is called ruach ha kodesh in Hebrew . I call Jehovah the Creator. Etc
But I could not create salvation myself. I read some verses of the Holy Bible.

And I used to worship the idols of my favorite deities and now I don't believe in any deities Because I used to eat vegetables for deity and To attain salvation.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. Many of us ask, why we became a Christian? What matters is you did in 2021, siddhi. Despite what happens in our lives on earth, we will receive the promise of eternity. Jesus has already prepared a place for you and all of us.

John 14:2, 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. - KJV

Why are you depressed? I don't know but God does. I don't have depression but I do get filled with sad and angry thoughts, problems with what other people say to me. I confess these thoughts to God. We can go to God anytime and tell Him honestly, "I don't know why this happens nor do I know what to do."

God loves us unconditionally and He protects us. Those ugly thoughts may not go away quickly, but by confessing to Jesus my problems, He gives me peace, calm and sleep knowing He is with me.

Isaiah 41:10, 10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - NIV

Philippians 4:19, 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. - NIV

New Christians wonder what their denomination is. What's most important is knowing you're a Christian, siddhi. In the Bible Jesus doesn't mention denominations. As we all continue to grow in our faith and study of God's Word, in another time we can have that discussion about denominations.

Ephesians 4:4-6, 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. - ESV

It is wonderfully true that Jesus died for our sins. There is no other religion, Hindu, Buddhist, Islam, or pagans who died for our sins, only Jesus, died for those (Christians) who believe in Him.

Romans 5:8, 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - ESV

The Holy Spirit completes the Trinity - God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. For all Christians the Holy Spirit is a gift. It dwells within us, intercedes for us and conveys our prayers to God when our hearts are broken, joyous, filled with questions that we don't know how to express to God. But God already knows whats on our hearts and guides us what to say and do at that moment, thus the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:26, 26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. - NLT

siddhi, all these Bible verses may be a lot but they are still the Truth of God's Word. And now you belong to God, forever. There is so much to learn about Jesus but He will grow us one day at a time whether in our youth, young adult or elderly Christian men and women.

Siddhi, welcome to BTF. I am glad you are here, and I am glad you are asking about salvation and the Holy Spirit.

The good news is that salvation is not based on perfect English, perfect understanding, health, church background, or religious works. Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone. The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” ~Acts 16:31. It also says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” ~Romans 10:13.

The Holy Spirit does not draw attention away from Jesus. He points us to Christ and to the truth of God’s Word. Jesus said, “He shall glorify me” ~John 16:14. So every experience, feeling, dream, or testimony must be tested by Scripture.

You are welcome here. Ask your questions plainly. If English words are hard, say so, and we will try to help. What matters most is this: Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Trust Him. He is the Savior.

As a child, I committed many sins. I watched cartoons of Bal Ganesh, Bal Hanuman and Bal Krishna and watched movies of Hari Darshan, Bhakta Prahlad, Vishnu Purana and Dashavatar; I left Ganpati and became a devotee of Lakshminarayan. A sect in Hinduism says that Krishna is Father of Jesus. This is false teaching.

Hindus recite Vedas, Aarti and Shlokas of all Gods. All Hindus worship idols of favorite gods; My Mother says that some Brahmins eat non-vegetarians.

What religion is polytheistic in India?
One of the most striking features of Hinduism is the seemingly endless array of images of gods and goddesses, most with animal associates, that inhabit the colourful temples, and wayside shrines and homes of its adherents. My maternal uncle's wife worships Ganesha (the elephant-headed god).
In front of my mother, I angrily threw the idol of mother's God in the house.

I used to love Lakshminarayan since my childhood.I used to watch his movies and songs. Vaishnavism is one of the four sects in Hinduism. In Hinduism people believe that heaven is Vaikuntha and hell. To go to Vaikuntha I worshiped Lakshminarayan and was eating pure vegetarian food.

What you were taught about Krishna being the Father of Jesus is false. The Bible does not teach that. Jesus said, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30), and He also said, “No man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). There is no other way to God except through Jesus Christ.

The Bible is also clear about idols. “We know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one” (1 Corinthians 8:4). So the answer is not to carry fear over every idol or every false thing you saw as a child. The answer is to turn fully from idols to the living God.

That is what happened with the believers in Thessalonica. Paul said they “turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for his Son from heaven” (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10). That is real repentance.

Your hope is not in being vegetarian, not in Vaikuntha, not in Lakshminarayan, not in Hindu teaching, and not in trying to clean up your past by yourself. Your hope is Jesus Christ, who died for sinners and rose again. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Come to Christ by faith. Confess your sin to Him. Trust Him alone. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

I am glad you are reading the Bible and that you understand what Jesus said in John 14:6. Salvation is found in Christ, not in diets, religious rituals, special numbers, or trying to earn moksha. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

I would encourage you to stay away from gematria and looking for hidden meanings in numbers. We do not need hidden numerical meanings to know God. He has already given us His truth plainly in Scripture. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” ~John 17:17. I would stay with what the Bible actually says rather than trying to find messages behind the words.

And while going to a church building or having a pastor does not save anyone, Christian fellowship still matters. If your physical condition makes that difficult, that is understandable. The important thing is that Christ remains the center and that everything we believe is tested by His Word.
