New Forum Added: Questions About Christianity and Other Beliefs

[David]

We added a new forum section to Biblical Truth Forum called Questions About Christianity and Other Beliefs.

This section is for people from other religions, worldviews, or backgrounds who want to ask sincere questions about Christianity and compare what they believe with the Bible. We want people to know they are welcome to come here and ask honest questions about Jesus Christ, the gospel, salvation, Scripture, heaven, hell, sin, forgiveness, idols, works, grace, and anything else they are trying to understand from a biblical view.

The reason we added this section is simple. We do not want to shut the door on people who are truly seeking answers. Not everyone from another religion is here to fight or promote false teaching. Some have real questions. Some have been lied to. Some have never heard the gospel clearly from Scripture. We want them to be able to ask, and we want to answer them from the Word of God.

But there is a line we will not cross. This forum is not a pulpit for another gospel. Honest questions are welcome. False teaching is not.

The Bible tells us:

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”
1 Peter 3:15

That is the heart behind this new section. We want to answer questions with Scripture, point people to Jesus Christ, and make clear what the Bible teaches.

At the same time, Scripture also warns us:

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 1:8

So questions are welcome. Honest discussion is welcome. But false teaching will not be given a pulpit here.

This new forum is especially for those who may be coming from Islam, Hinduism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, Roman Catholicism, New Age beliefs, atheism, agnosticism, works-based religion, or any other background where they want to understand how Christianity differs from what they have been taught.

If you know someone who has questions about Christianity, this may be a good section to share with them. We want Biblical Truth Forum to be a place where people are not merely told what Christians believe, but shown from the Word of God.

Jesus said:

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
John 17:17

That is still where we stand. Scripture is the final authority, Christ is the only Savior, and the gospel is still the message sinners need to hear.
