My name is John Stefan and I am from London. I do live in Peterborough and I am a follower of Jesus baptised into him by full immersion in water at the Northampton church of Christ congregation. I am also an attender at the Peterborough church of Christ and I am a study helper on world English institute as well. I am very interested in following the word of God and spreading it to others. I also am interested in learning all I can about the bible as I am always into asking my bible questions to others and learning from them too. I do look forward to learning all I can and will always take Bible study seriously. After all we all need to focus on Jesus more in our faith so as to be saved Indeed.

I do make mistakes, and get corrected
Sometimes my pride surfaces momentarily, until Holy Spirit fills me with understanding
Then I bounce back and am so happy to be here, to learn, to share, and to praise Our Lord.
Being here also helps me to live in the World, but not of it : )

Welcome to the forum. It is great to have you here. I am always glad to see someone who wants to take Bible study seriously and keep learning from the Word of God. That is where we all need to stay. Jesus said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” John 17:17. You are right that we need to focus on Jesus. He is not just part of the Christian faith. He is the center of it. Scripture says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” Acts 4:12.

I hope your time here is helpful, and that we can encourage one another to keep going back to Scripture and letting God’s Word correct us, teach us, and point us to Christ.

Thank you for joining Biblical Truth Forum. We look forward to fellowship with you and everyone here.

As a child we lived in Huntingdon and Hartford (north of London) while my Dad was stationed at Alconbury AFB, now RAF Alconbury.

My wife and I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. We just returned from visiting my Dad and family in San Diego. We had a nice gathering as he celebrated his 90th birthday.
